What wedding photography style do you offer?

We want to ensure that we deliver a product you're happy with. We offer a unique blend of traditional and candid (photojournalistic) coverage to produce stunning memories of your special day. We offer a relaxed, easy-going style that you're sure to be comfortable with.

Do you cover more than just weddings?

Of course! Weddings are our specialty, but we're happy to make arrangements for portrait sessions or other events. If you don't see prices listed for what you're interested in, contact us at wasatchstudios.com and we can work out an arrangement to meet your needs.

Your name is Wasatch Studios, so do you have a studio for indoor portraits?

We used to, but not anymore. We have found that our clients prefer the dramatic, engaging photos obtained by shooting on-location rather than the old-fashioned, static studio setting.

Are you available for destination wedding photography?

Yes! Please contact us for additional information.

Who will shoot my wedding/portraits/event?

I will! I don't outsource any work to anybody, and I will take personal care of you from beginning to end.

Who was the photographer for all the images in the portfolio?

Again, I don't outsource any of my work, thus you will know exactly who will be taking your pictures.

Do you require a retainer fee?

Yes, to reserve us for your special day and time, a non-refundable $300 retainer is required which is credited to your account. The remaining balance is due 7 days prior to your event.

Where are you located?

We are located in the southern end of the Salt Lake Valley and we generally offer our services between Bountiful and Provo, including Park City. We're happy to travel beyond these areas for a reasonable fee.

What kind of equipment do you use?

We use thousands of dollars worth of high quality, professional camera equipment. We have backups on-hand of all our gear--digital SLR cameras, lenses, and flashes to ensure that your memories are covered in case of equipment failure. Whichever photographer you choose, make sure he or she has backup equipment or memories of your special day could easily be lost.

When do I get to see my pictures?

Our turnaround time may depend on the season. Generally, within two weeks of your event, you can login to view your proofs. We'll have a private online gallery set up for you, your friends, and family from all over the world to browse your best images. If your package includes a CD with digital proofs or negatives, you can expect to receive it along with prints & albums you ordered from your event.

When will my prints be ready?

After you have chosen your images, it takes approximately 3 weeks to process your images and get them back from the lab. Depending on the season, this may be sooner or later.

Do you retouch my images?

Yes! Each image is fully adjusted for color, contrast, cropping, and sharpening adjustments. Many images will be selected for enhanced artistic effects.

Can't I just print my own images?

Of course! If your photography package includes the digital negatives, you own the copyright and can print images as you desire. However, be advised that if you order prints from us, your photos will be printed by a high-quality, professional lab that we have contracted with to provide you the highest possible quality. You'll be amazed at the difference between a professional print and a Wal-Mart print.

What days are you available?

Please contact us for availability. Generally we are available to photograph your event Monday - Saturday. Holidays may require an additional fee.
