Congratulations to Matt & Shulamith who were sealed in the Mount Timpanogos LDS temple last week. Their marriage got off to a good start as they happened to pick the warmest day of the year so far for their wedding day. For this weeks language lesson, Shulamith means ‘Peace’ in Hebrew. I think the pics turned out great:

Dana’s wedding day was bittersweet–in her late father’s memory, she chose to get married on his birthday. Ken would certainly have been a proud father this day. The Timbermine in Ogden Utah was a perfect venue on this wintry day. Congratulations Dana & Danny, it’s been great getting to know them these past few months.

Sarah & Alex were my last wedding of the year, and they just might win the happiest couple of 2009 award as they didn’t stop smiling and laughing all day long. Sarah is from St. George, but lucky for me they chose to get married in the Snowy Salt Lake instead of Sunny St. George. There’s something almost magical about the Salt Lake Temple in the snow. Thanks to Alex (not the groom Alex, a different one) at Pixels by Alex Photography for shooting with me today.
Happy new year everybody and I’ll be looking forward to tons of great 2010 weddings!

Got to love the winter wedding season, this is my third wedding in four days and my last one before Christmas. William and Elisa were sealed in the Logan Utah LDS temple, followed by a luncheon at Mendon Station in Cache Valley. We actually lucked out with the weather as it can be much colder in Logan in December.
And just for some shameless bragging, this is an email I received from the mother of the bride: “Thank you Gethyn! It is wonderful to see all of these great pictures. We have been so very pleased with your friendliness and your work. When I was scoping out photographers last year online and made several e-mail inquiries, I was so impressed to have you personally return via a phone call. That conversation made me feel very comfortable about hiring you and we have no regrets. We are thrilled with these shots. Many, many people have commented to us on the engagement photos and we’re excited to share these as well. We will certainly recommend you to anyone looking.”
Anyway, on to the pics:

How cool is it to get married in the winter during Christmas time. Jessica and Aaron were married December 22, 2009 at Log Haven. The weather in the valley was cold and smoggy, but a few miles up the canyon we enjoyed blue skies and sunshine. Here are some of my favorites from the day:
