I recently photographed the wedding day of Elaine & Seiki at the Draper Utah LDS Temple, followed by reception & luncheon at the Garden Room at Thanksgiving Point. Elaine & Seiki both live in Hawaii and came all the way out here with their Hawaiian & Pacific Island friends & family for their wedding. I think they were happy with the pictures based on the email Elaine sent me: “There’s more than just a few pictures we like, we love them all! Thank you so much for being our wedding photographer and especially for capturing such great shots of our family and friends, and of all the wedding details. Looking through the photos was like reliving our happy wedding day all over again – we will enjoy these pictures for years to come! Thanks again!”

I’m smack in the middle of my busy season shooting and editing photos which doesn’t leave much time for the blog–sorry for the lack of updates!
I know many couples who might have let an all-day downpour ruin their wedding day, but not Adam & Emily. Even though it rained all day long they cheerfully took it as a sign of good luck. Which is good news for me, because it’s hard to make grumpy people look happy for pictures.
Fortunately we had umbrellas at the temple and the Park City reception was indoors so everything turned out great in the end.

Hailey & Blake picked the one of the best places on the best day in the best season of the year to get married, not a bad start.
I shot Hailey’s bridals a while back at the State Capitol Building but this was the first chance I had to meet Blake. This happy couple couldn’t stop smiling all day long. I’ve been so busy shooting lately that I’ve been neglecting my blog posts, so here’s a ton of pics from their wedding day:

Jessie & Curtis picked a perfect spring day to get married in the Jordan River Temple. I love shooting at the Jordan River Temple as it’s something a little different from the more popular temples along the Wasatch Front. The evening reception was held at the Skyroom at BYU. Congrats to Jessie who graduated last week from BYU with a degree in Linguistics. In addition to English she fluently speaks German, Russian, Tagalog (maybe even more languages, I don’t remember). Herzlichen Glückwunsch zum Hochzeitstag! Hier sind einige Bilder des Tages:

Congratulations to Matt & Shulamith who were sealed in the Mount Timpanogos LDS temple last week. Their marriage got off to a good start as they happened to pick the warmest day of the year so far for their wedding day. For this weeks language lesson, Shulamith means ‘Peace’ in Hebrew. I think the pics turned out great:
