Monica & Michael were the perfect wedding planners. The gentle spring sun was perfect for shooting at the temple, and then they planned for an indoor reception on the evening that happened to feature the last snowfall of the year. Springtime snowfall makes for great pictures.

I’ve known Misti & Brad for a few months now and their wedding finally arrived on this chilly February day. The wedding ceremony took place at the Salt Lake LDS Temple followed by an evening reception at the beautiful Red Butte Gardens Orangerie at the University of Utah. Here are a few shots from the day:

Kiersten & Tyler were married last week on a crisp fall day at the Draper Utah LDS Temple. The reception was held in a cozy barn in Alpine. What a fun day, thanks everybody for putting up with me. Next week will be a little warmer for me as I’m shooting a wedding in Arizona. Happy Thanksgiving everybody!

Willow Creek Country Club in Sandy has to be one of the most picturesque wedding venues in Utah. Matt & Amanda picked the perfect fall day to match the beautiful location. Everything was perfect from beginning to end–ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing. I had a hard time narrowing down my favorites for this one.

Last week I shot the wedding of Courtney & Jake at the Oquirrh Mountain LDS Temple, followed by a reception at Noah’s in South Jordan. I was filling in for my friend Alex of Pixels by Alex Photography. I’d been nervous for a couple of weeks before the wedding because my wife & I were expecting the birth of our baby daughter any time. Fortunately Mother Nature cooperated and our baby girl was born the day before the wedding, so I was able to rush straight from the hospital over to the temple. I haven’t missed a wedding yet so I was happy to leave that streak intact.
